Parton’s Pit Stop – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, visits, and interactions with Parton’s Pit Stop, the private exhibition of over 650 handmade Formula 1 model cars created by the late Nick Parton and displayed by Sue Parton in support of St Leonard’s Hospice.
By making a booking, you agree to the following:
1. Booking Requirements
- All visits must be booked in advance through the official booking system.
- Each booking covers a 30‑minute viewing slot.
- Visitors must arrive on time to ensure they receive their full viewing period.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened visit, as slots cannot be extended.
2. No Refund Policy
Parton’s Pit Stop operates a strict no‑refund policy for all bookings.
This means:
- No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including illness, travel delays, personal emergencies, or failure to attend.
- Bookings are non‑transferable and cannot be rescheduled once confirmed.
- Missed appointments will be recorded as no‑shows, with no refund or alternative slot provided.
This policy exists because all proceeds support St Leonard’s Hospice, and each missed slot directly affects fundraising.
3. Exhibition Conduct
- Visitors must treat the exhibition space and models with respect.
- All instructions from staff or volunteers must be followed.
- Models must not be touched unless permission is given.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Anyone behaving in a disruptive or unsafe manner may be asked to leave without refund.
4. Photography and Media
- Photography for personal use is permitted unless stated otherwise on the day.
- Commercial photography, filming, or media use requires prior written permission.
5. Health and Safety
- Visitors enter the exhibition at their own risk.
- Parton’s Pit Stop is not responsible for personal belongings, loss, or damage.
- Visitors with accessibility needs should contact us before booking to confirm suitability.
6. Event Changes or Cancellations
If Parton’s Pit Stop must cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances (such as safety issues, venue problems, or exceptional personal circumstances):
- An alternative date will be offered where possible.
- If no alternative date is available, a refund may be issued at the organiser’s discretion.
This is the only exception to the no‑refund policy.
7. Use of Funds
All voluntary donations and proceeds from bookings support St Leonard’s Hospice, continuing the legacy of Nick Parton and his lifelong passion for Formula 1 model building.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
- You agree to the no‑refund policy.
- You accept all visitor responsibilities outlined above.
